He died of illness at the Repatriation General Hospital Hollywood,
Western Australia, August 2 1969, after his return from Vietnam.

Ronald A. Harris, 26. On
January 17 1969, he was acidentally killed by his own platoon commander
as he tried to locate the postion of his patrol, in Bien Hoa. Returning
to the patrol postition , he took the wrong entry path, and died from
frag wounds and a gunshot wound to the head.

Barleif A. Harstad, 21.
The private with 7RAR died of wounds after a contact in Phuoc Tuy
August 6 1967 in which five others died and 15 were wounded.

Peter R. Hart, 22. The
private with 6RAR died at 2 Field Ambulance, Vung Tau, March 29 1967 of
wounds received in a contact with a small force that was dug in at Ap
My An, Phuoc Tuy on March 21 1967.

Gilbert J Hartley, 39.
The Warrant Officer was posted to 102 Field Workshop, Vung Tau. He
served there only 3 months before dying of complications from a peptic
ulcer at 1 Field Hospital, Vung Tau on January 27 1971.

Norman V. G. Hawker, 22.
The private with 7RAR died at 24 US EVac. Hospital, Long Binh, of
wounds received November 27 1967 during a Viet Cong rocket attack.

James F. Hayes, 27. He
was a corporal with 7RAR. He was killed in action in Phuoc Tuy August 6
1967.

Malcolm A. Henderson,
36. A Warrant Officer with the AATTV . He was killed in action with one
other Australian and four Vietnames regional soldiers when they were
ambushed in Phuoc Tuy on the morning of December 16 1967

Terence E. Hendle, 20.
He died at 36 Evac. Hospital on November 30 1966 of gunshot wounds
received in a contact with Viet Cong while on patrol near Nui Dat.

Michael Herbert, 24. On
the night of November 3 1970, Herbert and his navigator, Robert Carver,
had a bombing mission to Da Nang. They left Phan Rang at 7.30pm,
indicated by radio that they had completed the mission and were flying
at 22,000ft, which was acknowledged and were told to go to 25,000ft.
Then the plane disappeared off the screen. Herbert and Carver were
posted missing and then presummed killed.

Reginald H. Hillier, 39.
Hillier MID was killed in action at Vo Dat, Binh Tuy Province November
29 1965. The South Vietnamese Government awarded him a Military Merit
Medal and Gallantry Cross with Palm, describing him as a courageous
combatant.

Peter A. Hines, 27.
Lieutenant Hines was killed in Phuoc Tuy by a mine explosion on the
morning of July 21 1969- the day man walked on the moon.

Frederick W. Hoare, 29.
The corporal assault pioneer with 6RAR died at 24 US Evac. Hospital,
Long Binh, August 4 1969 from a mine blast he received the previous day.

Wlliam J. Hoban, 39. The
sergeant with 8RAR was killed in a mine explosion in Phuoc Tuy February
28 1970. He held the Britsh Empire Medal.

Tony Holland, 21. The
trooper with 1 APC Squadron died of injuries at 36 US Evac. Hospital,
Vung Tau, after an accidental discharge while looking down the barrel
of an OMG in Phuoc Tuy at 4.30pm on July 7 1966.

The sapper with 1 Field Squadron was killed by an enemy mine in Phuoc
Tuy on January 30 1970.

John W. Holloway. 22.
The private rifleman with 9RAR was killed in action during a contact in
Bien Hoa Province on October 26 1969.

Raymond H. Hunt, (about
27). He joined the Navy when he was 17and served on several ships
before being posted to HMAS Hobart. He was struck by shrapenel at
3.13am on June 17 1968 and died instantly during an attack on the ship
by an American plane.

The private rifleman with 1RAR was shot by a sniper at Ben Cat, Binh

RAN Sub Lieutenant Huelin arrived in Vietnam with RANHFV in 1968. He
was killed when his helicopter struck power lines near Saigon on
January 3 1969.

Hughs was fataly wounded by a sniper during a search-and-destroy
operation in Phuoc Tuy November 17 1967.

detonated an anti-tank mine in Phuoc Tuy on April 29 1970.
